The AM Coffee Co Story: community & corporate

In 2019, what started as an attempt to bring specialty coffee to small-town Indiana became AM Coffee Co. As a husband and wife team, we weren’t necessarily hoping to start a coffee cart company (or any sort of company, for that matter), but after launching a coffee club and consulting with local shops for barista training, opportunities started to open up. However, just as we launched with a corporate coffee catering contract in Fishers, Indiana, the world shut down. Suddenly, we had no more coffee company.

Fast forward to 2024: we are now living in a suburb of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, facing rising housing costs and a challenging economy. With the goal of supporting our family, investing in our community (both local and faith), and meeting a real catering need in the greater Milwaukee area, we decided it was time to re-launch AM Coffee Co—this time in Wisconsin. Between our beautifully built-out mobile espresso bar, a new coffee club for networking, and an open house to share the coffee experience with our Muskego neighbors, we’ve grown from a small family side hustle into a professional catering brand.

While we still run our monthly coffee club, we now also serve large corporate clients with our mobile espresso catering. We remain dedicated to serving our local community and our church, but we now do so with the backing of strong business systems that allow for both generosity and large-scale excellence. These systems allow us to "wow" our clients while continuing to give back to the community and the faith that keep us grounded.
