The Power of Hospitality

There are plenty of people who talk about hospitality — about how their clients deserve the highest level of care. And yet, why do we have so few delightful business transactions on a week-to-week basis?

Eight-Eight & Co. is a local photography business that could have just set out some bagels and drip coffee for her mini-session guests. Her guests would have been happy with that! But Katie isn't that kind of hostess. She went far beyond the standard and gave tired parents the gift of lattes. There's something impractical about this kind of hospitality. It's technically not "needed," but it was a moment of delight for everyone who paid for a mini-session. Katie is clearly great at snapping and editing photos — but she's clearly just as great at providing that little "extra" when it comes to hospitality.

The next time you are planning a party or event, consider what it would take to provide an impractical extra — something over the top for your guests. That moment of delight will both help your business AND give your guests something to talk about for years to come.

Custom branded carts and cups are available if you want to take those hospitality efforts just a little bit further.
